Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

NEXT WEEK'S CM is another big issue. From 38 tonnes we move to ferry services, Continental operation, and another new vehicle. And there's a special pull-out supplement.

Our annual guide to freight ferries has long been acknowledged as a useful aide memo/re to both traffic clerks and TIR drivers. This is not just a route guide but a directory to ferry contacts. It should be in every traffic office and driver's cab.

• We've all heard of that ferry service that gets you all the way to France cheaper than its competitors. But what level of service do you get for your money? How long does it take? Does it help or hinder operations? Mike Rutherford reveals all next Friday.

• Are the harbour companies looking after ferry customers as they could and should? Noel Millier has been looking at facilities at Dover as an operator and a passenger and reports next Friday.

• We also look at a P&O service and at a typical shipping and forwarding service.

• And there's more. Bryan Jarvis has compiled another "must" for traffic office and cab. He has listed alphabetically by dealer and location 843 dealers with names, addresses and telephone numbers. He calls it "Bedford to Volvo or Aberdeen to York."

All of next Friday's CM is a "must".
