JOHN DEVANEY is the new managing director of Perkins Engines. Before this appointment, he was the company's director of sales and business development.
Before his job. as director of sales and business development, Mr Devaney was director of ,manufacturing. Before that, he was director of quality control.
Mr Devaney joined Perkins in 1968, and holds an honours degree in engineering and is a chartered engineer.
He succeeds Jim Felker who is now president of the tractors and farm equipment division of Massey-Ferguson, Perkins' parent company.
