• Scottish Omnibuses Ltd has tabled plans for a major bus terminal on Renfrew Street, Glasgow, involving a new bus station and erection of offices on a cleared site within the Cowcaddens Redevelopment Area. The Corporation planning committee has approved outline planning permission.
Conditions include detailed planning of every aspect and adjustment of site boundaries. The committee has ruled that all pedestrian underpasses, ramps and other routes within the site must be approved by the city engineer. The company must provide public conveniences and boundary walls.
