• Transport Development Group Ltd has acquired the entire issued share capital of W. and J. Riding Ltd of Longridge, near Preston, Lancashire, and its associated and subsidiary companies.
The companies provide haulage services in the North of England and Scotland and operate a total of 74 vehicles.
The managing director. Mr Thomas Riding, continues as chief executive and his father. Mr James Riding, will continue as a director.
The consideration for the acquisition consisted of the issue of 670,732 Ordinary shares of 25p each of Transport Development Group Ltd, credited as fully paid.
