Mr. Stuart Oxley has been appointed to the new position of northern area representative foTAtkinson Vehicle. Ltd., Preston. For the past two years. Mr. Oxley has been a technical sales representative in the north west. In his new job he will be concerned primarily with liaison on technical matters with Atkinson distributors in the area. Aged 27, Mr. Oxley served his time in the service department at the Walton-le-Dale headquarters factory. He worked in the drawing office from 1958 until taking up technical sales in I 963.

The Minister of Transport has appointed the undermentioned as members of the Central Transport Consultative Committee for Great Britain until July 31, 1968: Mr. E. G. Whitaker, chairman; Lord Collison, Maj. E. E. Meeting, Mr. .E. W. Bebbington, Mr. A. L. King, Mr. G. Dudley G. Perkins and Miss M. G. Triggs, members. The office of the committee is at 3-4 Great Marlborough Street, London WI. The secretary is Mr. H. M. Herbert. Of the new members, Mr. King is managing director of Shell-Mex and BP Ltd.
