MR. D. E. C. HAYES, managing director of the Dar-es-Salaam Motor Transport. Co., Ltd., and of Kenya Bus Services (Mombasa), Ltd., hat retired from the board of the African Transport Co.. Ltd., because of ill-health.
MR. F. W. KNIGHT has become commercial sales manager of the Triangle Motor Co., Ltd., Hull. His territory will be the East Riding of Yorkshire. The company are Rootes agents. Mr. Knight was formerly sales manager of Hands (Letchworth), Ltd.
MR. H. D. Eats has taken over representation duties in Kent, Surrey, Sussex and East Hampshire, including Portsmouth, for the garage equipment division of Laycock Engineering, Ltd. MR. R. REARDON and MR. M. RAY-HILL have been appointed junior representatives for the London area.
MR. J. S. F. POLLITZER, member of the committee of the Metropolitan and South-Eastern Area of the Road Haulage Association, has been chosen as a Master Elect of the Worshipful Company of Carmen. MR. H. H. Caow, area chairman last year, has been elected to the court of Assistants of the Worshipful Company.
