Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AN Austin-built gas turbine has been successfully tested in an Austin Sheerline chassis. It has been known for some years past that the Austin research department has been engaged on a gas-turbine project.

The unit evolved employs a heat exchanger, the rated output being 125 b.h.p. Such a unit would be applicable to the heavier types of commercial vehicle, but as gas turbines inherently have.a high fuel consumption, some time must elapse before this form of power can be adopted for road vehicles.

Each component of the Austin gas turbine has been developed to have the minimum of losses—a two-stage compressor driven by a three-stage compressor turbine, followed by a separate power turbine and cross-flow heat exchanger.
