RATHER THAN developing a 4x4 version of the Berlingo. Citroi-:,n has launched the XTR+, an enhanced front-wheel drive. Ground clearance has been increased by 40mm and skid plates have been fitted for under-run protection. It features 15in mud and snow Lyres as standard and a limited-slip diff for 75% power transfer to the wheel with better grip. Following a 12-month trial, the Forestry Commission has placed an initial order for 15 vehicles.
