Eagle Star commercial motor manager Fred Whitworth says: "The new package reduces administration and will be a real help to fleet managers and those drivers travelling beyond the UK."
The policy applies to all EC countries and Austria, Czechoslovakia, Finland, East Germany, Hungary, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. Eagle Star warns that it is still advisable to carry a Green Card when in Italy because of an Italian law governing civil liability.
