• Penman Engineering has fitted the Leyland Daf 8.15 Roadrunner participating in the Commercial Motor/Leyland Daf Runnerthon competition with its first body: a sliding-sided reefer.
Over the next 10 weeks the Roadrunner will be fitted with another four bodies — from Boalloy, Brade-Leigh, York and Besco — and operated by five transport companies.
Details will appear in forthcoming issues of Commercial Motor.
