• A franchised parcel operation is being set up in West Germany next Tuesday (2 May), by Interlink Express Parcels.
More than 100 franchisees have already signed up to Interlink Express Paketdienst, which will have a central sorting hub at Bischofsheim, south-west of Frankfurt. A total of 147 franchisees will be recruited.
The new network will have 75 trunking routes, with at least one vehicle operating on each route.
Interlink also plans to expand into the French parcels market next year.
