Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Iveco Ford will launch its 190.32 TEC fleet tractive unit and its uprated 190.48 Turbostar in the UK at the Institute of Road Transport Engineers' Telford exhibition on 10 May. The 190.32, revealed at the Brussels Motor Show, is powered by the 234kW (318hp) 9.6-litre straight six turbocharged engine which has a peak torque of 1,250Nm (912Ibft) at I,200rpm. With an Eaton Twin Splitter 12-speed gearbox as standard, or optional 16-speed ZF 16S130 transmission, it will replace the current 190.30 TEC tractive unit, equipped with the heavier 13.8-litre Fiat engine. This will save 270kg, bringing the unladen weight down to 6,331kg for the fully fuelled sleeper cab version. The 220.30 6x2 twin-steer model weighsin at 7,391kg. Both day and sleeper cab versions are expected to be about 5% more efficient. Anti-lock and anti-spin control becomes an option for the first time. The 190.32 has low rate, minimum leaf spring suspension on both front and rear axles with telescopic dampers and an anti-roll bar. The twin-steer 220.32 employs a similar front steered axle suspension, but uses air bags located by trailing arms on the two rear axles. Anti-roll bars are specified for all three axles. The 190.48 Turbostar is the most recent arrival in Iveco Ford's tractive unit line-up and features a charge-cooled 17.2litre vee-eight engine producing a massive 355kW (476hp) and a peak torque of more than 2,034Nm (1,500Ibft). The two new tractive units will allow Iveco Ford a doubleheaded attack on the UK tractive unit market. The 190.32 and 220.32 are aimed primarily at the 38-tonne fleet market in opposition to the likes of the Volvo FL10, while the 190.48 Turbostar will compete directly with the Scania 143, Mercedes-Benz 1948 and the Volvo F16.
