THE COMMERCIAL vehicle section at Lord Montagu's National Motor Museum at Beaulieu is having a complete facelift. Nicholas Ridley, Transport Secretary, is due to open the new exhibit on Monday (April 29).
The Wincanton Group, which is doing so much good social work, has covenanted £100,000
over the next seven years towards the project. Now Lord Gowrie, Minister for the Arts, has awarded £20,000 towards that sum under the Business Sponsorship Incentive Scheme and the system that carries the great bulk of the nation's goods will be presented with impressive realism.
