He was with Seddon for several years before taking up a short-term contract as field service manager in Egypt with International Harvester, the American group which sold Seddon to Enasa of Spain.
A new area sales manager for the south has also been an nounced. He is Phil Thompson, who was field relations engineer with Rockwell CVC for the past three years.
The two men will be responsible for liaison between the factory, dealers and operators on new sales.
