been closed and they now only had a toe hold in the Gulf ate.
Fed Wall who has managed the Iranian operation since Mr ok returned to the UK a few months ago is now also back at gosy House. Should the political climate in Iran prove isfactory and the, acts of violence cease then it is understood it the operation may be reinstated.
5audi Arabia is the Corporation's only other foreign activity aere it has a small full-time consultancy office. The NFC's reign operations have never proved totally satisfactory. Its Overland business to the Middle East was shortlived and e European business under Pickfords International was ually unsuccessful.
Unlike the NFC domestic companies, apart from one or two nor instances, the foreign operations have never been profitle. The corporation is now looking at the entire foreign scene, viewing its activities and gauging the viability of future reign involvement.
