Since January 2006 Vosa has issued 11 recalls relating to the Actros range. Here are the most significant:
July 2011 Risk of fire. Electrical cable may chafe at bracket of the engine control unit and may lead to possible malfunctions in the vehicle's electrical system.
August 2011 Risk of fire. The oil dipstick guide tube on these vehicles is used for possible oil extraction. In some circumstances it is possible engine oil can escape via the oil dipstick guide, creating a fire risk.
