Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AS A CYCLIST, motorcyclist, car and LGV driver my opinion is based on experience. We have had major change to construction and use of LGVs over the past few years, which I applaud. However, we are in danger of over complicat

ing the basic fact that cyclists are NOT aware of the dangers posed by large vehicles. Cyclists need to be regulated as they now take a large proportion of the roads in the network, especially during rush hour. Advanced stop lines add to the dangers when there are about 15 cyclists in front of a line of traffic. This will inevitably lead to conflict when a driver tries

to go around the cyclists. Regulation should include a compulsory basic training course like the CBT needed to ride a moped at 16. As soon as you hit the public highway you must be regulated otherwise there is a two-tier system, which cannot be right. Richard Harrison Brewery Logistics Group member address withheld by request
