We had a quiet August, but September opened with a bang,' says David Littlejohn, managing director of south of England Iveco dealership Grays Trucks. "We're doing well with Stralis, and we've just had an order for a load of 17-tonners and Cursor-powered eight-wheelers.

"We've done a deal for 10 curtainsided 7.5-tonners, and were selling a lot of 7.5-tonne tippers too.

"So far as the used side is concerned we've done a few eightwheelers with grabs, and one guy has just bought a couple of 17-tonne curtainsiders with tail-lifts," he adds. "We're shifting plenty of 7.5-tonners too, along with a few EuroStars."
