It was refreshing to see Les Jennings driving his Smart car out of the back of his truck (CM Backfire 5-11 Sept)—the action usually turns a few heads in our yard when he arrives. However, I was a little miffed when I read the article, particularly the last sentence referring to dealer waiting rooms.

We at Mudie-Bond Tewkesbury strive to give our customers a clean, carpeted room to use. We have a drinks machine (which is subsidised by the company), clean soft furnishings, a television and daily newspapers to read. If that's not enough we can provide one of our fleet of courtesy vans to get them away fora while.

I'm sure Les would be the first to praise the facilities we provide. How about a feature on dealer facilities? We could all use some support—the job's tough enough as t is!

Adrian Johnson, Service manager, Mudie-Bond, Tewkesbury.

• We're dehghted that MudieBond has broken the mould providing facilities that drivers deserve; let's hope that the drivers that use it don't abuse it. And if operators out there want to tell us about the best— and worst—dealer facilities we like to hear from you—Ed.
