WEST 13ROMWICH haulage firmTranservice Express Transport has won a new contract following a recommendation from one of its existing customers The contract will seeTranservice handling all UK palletised distribution for Cannock firm C&A Flooring. Full and part loads will be handled by Transervice itself: with smaller consignments fed through the UK Pallets network, of which Transervice is a member.
C& A Flooring specialises in refurbishing floors in retail outlets; it is currently engaged in a major refurbishment operation at retailer Matal an's UK stores.
Transervice managing director Paul Johnson says the contract came about thanks to a referral from a customer in a similar field. He adds: -We're finding that there's still business out there if you are prepared to go that little bit further on the service side.
Transervice runs 16 trucks, the majority on the pallet side of the operation and the remainder on dedicated distribution.
