Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Nottinghamshire-based hydraulics specialist ABCO Engineering Hydraulics has developed a range of 10and 20-tonne pit jacks for pit widths from 765-1.200mm with manual or air-operated pumps.

The air-operated model features a robust, high-output air pump, operates via a three-button control valve, provides rapid advance and retracts up to its maximum lift of 20 tonnes. Cylinders are hard-chromed with a 300mm stroke; they can move the length of the pit jack. Integral isolation valves enable each cylinder to be operated individually. If a hose blows, a check valve prevents the jack descending when loaded.

ARCO also supplies lifting beams and a range of quickfit lifting adapters for gearboxes, diffs and chassis. All pit jacks carry a 12-month warranty. Retail prices start at £1,995.
