• Ackers Jarrett, the commercial vehicle and contract hire and rental services group, predicts strong growth in the rental of specialist waste vehicles, says Dennis Buck, its newly-appointed national rental director.
The company operates a fleet of 1,000 commercial and specialist vehicles, but is gradually moving away from general rental because of a downturn in the market. "The waste market is a growth sector and we are involved in developing a new total concept package which includes not only contract hire but short term hire," says Buck.
