Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A PENSION scheme for haulage drivers throughout Britain is to be launched by RUA Insurance Services, probably next month.

It will be administered by the insurance company Legal and General, and has an estimated potential market .of 250,000 employees who are not at present covered by a pension scheme..

Employers and drivers will

be given the choice of determining their .level of contributions. The scheme has been running for sonic months with a few hauliers, and it is believed that it has added roughly five per cent to their wage bill.

In addition to the pension

provisions the scheme allows for 1:5,000 death benefit for a premium of i.12.

Drivers will be able to move company but stay in the scheme.

The scheme will be available to all hauliers, whether or not they are members of the RHA.

The RHA's national council decided against having a policy on a pension scheme.
