Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ROAD TANKERS stopped in a police-check near Wetherby, North Yorkshire, last week, were largely complying with the 1981 1)angerous Goods Regulations.

More than 24 tankers were stopped by the police, with Health and Safety .officers in attendance. "The vast majority were in order I'm pleased to say," Sergeant Jim Hudson told CM. But it is likely that two operators will be prosecuted, and some others received cautions.

"But there seems to be quite a bit of non-compliance with Regulation 7, which requires the fitting of a plate on pressure vehicles. We found this on earlier, smaller checks, and the Health and Safety Executive will be doing a follow-up to see if the checks have been done,he said.
