We are pleased to be able to announce that the directors of Belsize Motors, Ltd., Clayton, Manchester, and of DennisBros. (1913), Ltd., Guildford, have intimated to us that each of these companies will support the Fund to the extent of 2120 for the period October, 1916—March, 191'7.

We are pleased to observe the diversity of source to which our list of cash receipts for last week testifies. It may surprise readers to know that an average expenditure so low as 4d. per man per month represents no less than 21200 of outgo in that period. The position of the Fund, at the end of the third week of its third year, whilst it looks most promising, is aided to this point by the inclusion already of several large subscriptions which cover the six months OctoberMarch. More money is really needed, and we should like to record that the great majority of the M.T. A.S.C., contrary to the common impression, is paid only Is. 2d. per man per day, plus 1s. 2d. Corps pay. The men have no county or local associations to look after them. This journal's fund is the one to which they are entrusted, and a regular flow of letters, from which we quote periodically, shows how much the comforts are appreciated overseas.
