Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

truck drivers Fabio Miani and Claudio Bersini (pictured) on the morning of the Hungarian GP, when there's little to do other than wait.

Miani started with the team in 2000, having previously worked as a truck driver. It's his job to transport the cars, and, through the race weekend, he looks after the team's tyres. "Ferrari is a dream job," he reveals.

Bersini, on the other hand, started with the team in 1986, initially as a mechanic, but subsequently adding driving to his CV.

His truck pulls the mobile office from which the Ferrari team bosses control their race. He says it is also the ultimate job for him.

He adds: "My dream was always to work in Fl. I love the concentration and professionalism that are involved." The job clearly involves long periods away from home, but Miani says his family is understanding.

4 He explains: "My family like the job I do, but not the fact that I'm away so much -they don't like that, but they know it's my dream."

Similar to truck drivers the world over, they are also governed by drivers' hours rules and the Working Time Directive, which has made it "a bit easier than it used to be," says Miani. In this instance, it means they won't be able to drive the trucks back to Maranello post-race.

Miani also contrasts his current job with his previous one: "It's very different. When you are a professional driver, that's all you do. You just get into the cab and go. Here, it's different. The first thing we do when we arrive is to wash the trucks and then start setting up the garage.

"We always have two drivers, so it's a relatively relaxing trip. The days you spend in the truck are always the most relaxing. It's the other way round to the experiences of most other drivers."
