• Londoners now have significantly poorer bus service due to route tendering according to PSV pressure group CAPITAL, working from a survey carried out by the London Strategic Policy Unit. CAPITAL claims that the average age of vehicles on tendered routes is now 9.5 years, compared to 5.6 years, with LBL run vehicles.
• Northern Ireland-based Wright of Ballymena expects to have its Leyland Swift-based TT404 ready for production by January.
