Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE UK Association of Frozen Food Producers has updated its code of practice for handling of quick frozen foods.

The code includes a section on selection and use of vehicles and says that fruit, for example, should be held between 0°C and 2°C.

In order to achieve its recommendations, the code says that in practice a maximum heat leakage of 0.4Wm/ °C (0.05 Btu/ft-/°F /hr) is recommended.

Particular attention should be paid to door seals, punctures in the inner and outer skins and correct maintenance of the refrigerating system. Duckboards and dunnage battens should be provided to ensure free air circulation.

The code is available, price 50p, from the UKAFFP, 1 Green Street, Grosvenor Square, London W1Y 3RG.
