Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Chrysler UK has changed the standard of the Commer VC5 6x2 conversion lorry on the 5-ton chassis cab. The lorry, with a gvw of 14.4 tons, has had the front axle weight increased from 3.4 to 3.75 to give an evenly balanced weight distribution.

The change was instigated by the transport manager of Coca-Cola Bottlers (Scotland and Northern) Ltd. Mr J. Clark, who asked Chrysler to examine the possibilities of strengthening the front axle. Now Coca-Cola has two of the special modification vehicles on runs in the Inverness area and Chrysler has decided to make the modification standard.
