THE ETOM Anglo-Dutch group (40 per cent Thomsen's Verenigde Bedrijven NV of Rotterdam, 60 per cent Transport Development Group Ltd. of London) has further extended its interests in Federal Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. The group's holding company, Europa Transport Ontwikkelings Maatschappij, ETOM NV, has just acquired a controlling interest in German, Dutch and Belgian transport firms—Donau-Rhein GmbH and Joseph Hirsch GmbH, both of Munich; Rornbouts International Transportbedrijf NV of Schiedam, International Transportbedrijf Kwaaland De Vrachttaxi NV of Delft; Jos. Schreurs NV of Wilrijk, Antwerp.
The ETOM group now controls seven companies in the Netherlands, four in Germany, one in Belgium and one in the UK.
