The Cartwright Group is perhaps more closely associated with dry freight trailers and bodies, and num hers TNT, Royal Mail,Asda and Argos, amongst its big fleet customers.
Typical products amongst its exhibits at last month's CV Show, included a 13.6m tandemaxled GRP van semi-trailer with tapered body, heavy duty rubbing plate and rear frame, plus rear shutter door.
Designed for intense parcel hub operations it was one of a batch of 260 ordered by DHL.
Another exhibit was the 13.6 metre curtainsidedtri-axle trailer for the Gloucester-based haulier Downton. One of 50 on order, it featured an Anteo tuckaway taillift, sliding side posts and Cartwright's own design of front bulkhead.
