Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

(Bird's Eye View, CM 5-11 May). Do they mean us? Surely some mistake!

I would have thought Commercial Motor would have supported Surrey County Council's attempts to curb the activities of haulage companies that flout the 0-licence regulations, instead of pecking at our press release on it.

The release was aimed at highlighting our success in bringing about legal action and helping forge case law — and warning unscupulous operators for the future.

And hands off our Ken Livingstone — he's a nice chap who's never even touched a salamander, let alone an HGV! Beryl Evans, Public Relations Officer, Surrey County Council, Kingston-upon-Thames.
