• Metro Camila Weymann has won a major export order worth nearly £7 million, to supply Kowloon Motor Bus of Hong Kong with 90, three-axle Metrobuses.
The 11-metre Metro-buses will be supplied as fully built-up chassis with completely knocked-down body kits, for local assembly by K.MB in the Then Mun assembly plant.
Deliveries will be made in the last three months of this year. The three-axle, two-door Metrobuses will be powered by Gardner 6LXCT engines with Voith Transmissions and can carry up to 145 passengers.
