Oxford is still being challenged by the city's two major operators, Thames Transit and Oxford Bus Company. Both report long delays as their coaches negotiate the back streets around Cornmarket and Queen Street.
The local authority says that the pedestrians-only streets have seen a large increase in the number of coaches and minibuses as Thames Transit and Oxford Bus Company battle it out.
Thames Transit says that the company has not yet heard the outcome of its appeal against the ban.
