Macteco Transport Equipment. It will become part of York's Australian subsidiary York Transport Equipment.
The group has also acquired 40% of a new Far Eastern company, PT York Indonesia, in a venture with Indonesian firm PT Inti Ganda Perdana. It will make 900 axles and suspensions each year. Managing director is Eric Storey, who was chief engineer at York's Northallerton trailer plant.
