Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A range of cab replacement panels is being marketed by Wright Signs and Coachworks to reduce repair costs by replacing areas subjected to rust and accident damage.

The range — marketed under the trade name We!co Truck Panels — covers items such as door skins, bottom sections of doors, cab corners, windscreen surrounds, roof gutter sections and, for some cabs, a replacement under-floor main structure. The parts at present cover Daf, Volvo, MAN and Mercedes-Benz cabs.

"Most items are for replacement of areas which are subject to rust. However, in a lot of cases these areas are also vulnerable to accident damage," says the company. "Most manufacturers, for example, offer only a complete door shell when a door skin would be sufficient at a fraction of the cost."
