Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Dear Sir, • In the interesting article in Workshop magazine — April edition — on workshop remanufacturing, recon bodywork, there is a sentence

which reads "Where damage does occur in a sandwich panel, repair techniques are now available". As 1 read it, it seems to infer that these are new.

May I please point out that we have been inserting replacement sections into GRP panels for over 10 years utilising the "Plygrip" system, This system was originally developed for ISO containers, which usually lead an even harder life than trailers.

The Plygrip system uses an injected joint of non-shrinking polyester resin together with special tooling for subsequent laminating of the damaged area, to provide a good as new finish.

The system has been tested by both Germanischer Lloyd and by the Manchester Chamber of Commerce Testing House. Also, we haven't had a single reported failure of a Plygrip repair, so they must be effective.
