• The LPB20 Handycut portable air plasma arc cutting machine introduced by ESAB is capable of cutting a wide varie
ty of materials, even when rusty or painted, up to 4rnm thick. The unit is portable, weighing 25kg, and uses clean, dry corn
pressed air for the plasma and secondary gas streams.
Faster and cleaner than oxyfuel gas cutting processes, plasma cutting offers the additional advantage of a lower total heat input, resulting in less distortion of the material being cut. Because there is no requirement for stand-off between torch and workpiece, accurate cutting can be achieved.
