Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

for all vehicles to provide management information or facilitate route planning.

It is called Monitak 2, and is based on the recently introduced Monitak in-cab computer; but whereas Monitak derives its information from a vehicle's tachograph, Monitak 2 is linked to the speedometer drive and enables tachometertype data to be provided even for vehicles without a tachograph.

It can also be used, for example, by buses and company vans and cars to record stationary time, journey times, distances, and the average speed of each journey.

Data captured by Monitak 2 can be downloaded by an RS232 cable to a printer or IBM compatible computer.

Drivers or supervisors can select start and finish depot points, chosen from an LCD display. This can aid later analysis.
