• Honda has signed a spares distribution deal with express parcels company Lynx. The two-year contract valued at over i3/4 million a year is for guaranteed delivery of spare parts by 10am on the morning following the order.
Roger Jackson, of Lynx's Bristol base, who negotiated the contract, said a key factor in securing the deal was the Lynx policy of installing radios in delivery vehicles.
This new contract with Honda complements Lynx's specialist service to the motor trade. Existing Lynx customers include Vauxhall/Opel, Seddon Atkinson and Nissan.
