I WAS INTRIGUED by an FTA Press notice headed, "Uses and Abuses of the Tachograph Seminars." How, I asked myself, could anything as innocent as tachograph seminars be abused?

Were they being illegally taped and sold on the black market? Were counterintelligence agents trying to corrupt the spies in the cab? Were fiddlers being infiltrated to mislead honest operators?
