Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FOLLOWING the success of the first three Freight Transport Association/Institute of Road Transport Engineers transport engineering seminars held in 1983, the series will continue with two further oneday seminars being held in Nottingham on June 7 and Bristol on June 26.

The seminars are designed to provide members of both bodies with an opportunity to update themselves on four important aspects of fleet engineering.

• Technical legislation — the recent developments — what is in the picture.

• Selection and specification of new vehicles — the right vehicle for the job — when to dispose of vehicles — the best method of doing so. • Mechanical condition and maintenance procedures aimed at ensuring 0-licence requirements are fulfilled and achieving effective cost standards.

• Controls and costs — methods and systems to obtain maximum control at minimum cost.

Speakers will be drawn from the FTA and industry. The seminar fee is £65 plus vat per delegate. Further details from the ETA's education and training department on 0892 883688.
