CHARD and Axminster Transport Services has appointed Geoffrey Neal as sales manager.
Mr Neal joins the Chard, Somerset, road haulage division of the Peter Baulch Group from RT Express of Abingdon, Oxfordshire, where he held a similar position. He has more than 20 years' engineering and sales experience within the motor industry, including several years with the Wincanton Motor Group.
His brief is to develop all services offered by the company's transport division. These include a national parcels service offering next day delivery and weekly groupage services to Northern France via Cherbourg.
