Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

An instrument to giVe mobile crane operators an .immediate visual indication of the degree and direction of inclination of their vehicles has been developed by Strawson Hydraulics.

The Strawson Crane Inclinometer comprises a screen on which a light spot indicates the slope of the ground on which the crane is standing. It also indicates which of the levelling outriggers, if fitted, should be adjusted to make the crane base level.

The Inclinometer has a red indicator screen, calibrated in circles at 2deg intervals, on which a spot of light is projected internally. When the light is dead centre the crane is level. The Inclinometer can be flange mounted on any part of the crane's main structure, Its base should be mounted through the floor of the driving platform, provided this is rigid. The base diameter is 3.625in. (9.2cm), overall diameter 5.75in. (14.6cm). and overall depth 8.625in. (21.9cm). Weight is 5.5Ib (2.495kg). Recalibration is completed using three levelling screws below the screen casing. Models are available for 6, 12, 24 and 48V supply.
