A multi-purpose hoist weighing only 641b and having a lifting capacity of 20001b is available from Dolmar (UK). Called the Jac-lift, it has a full circle ratchet and safety pawl control, and its handle bends when the load is too heavy to be safe (only the Jac-lift handle should be used).
The lift is supplied with 15ft high-tensile cable with two forged steel swivel action hooks. Marketed by: Dolmar (UK) Ltd.
