ALTHOUGH UK operators of Magirus-Deutz trucks have been informed by the parent German company, Klockner-Humboldt-Deutz, that a new company is being formed in Lancashire to handle all Magirus-Deutz interests in this country, no further details have yet been revealed.
The company, it has been said, will become operative on June 1. But a Magirus-Deutz spokesman told COMMERCIAL MOTOR this week merely that "an announcement would be made soon".
The plan for the continuation of sales, spares and service follows the appointment of a receiver to the Blundell group which owned the British agents Magirus-Deutz Concessionaires.
