Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

T T has been announced by R. A. Dyson and Co. .1Ltd. that the Newloader Mark II semi-trailer which went into production a short time ago is designed to take advantage of the proposed changes in legal length limits and any likely increase in UK gross weight figures.

Dyson has produced models even longer than the 40 ft. which will be possible if the proposed length changes announced last week are implemented. These are for carrying indivisible loads and it is stated that the Newloader Mark II is capable of operation at 38 tons g.t.w. (a possible artic limit before long) even at these long lengths.

Dyson considers that the proposed increase in length of drawbar trailers to 12 metres will offer operators many new possibilities. Semi-trailers converted to drawbar trailers by the addition of a convertor dolly could, it says, be an answer to many trunking problems.

Forty foot semi-trailers, minus headboards and sides, are already being "mass" produced by Highway Trailers (Great Britain) Ltd., Southampton.
