BLYTH (Northumberland) Corporation'i representations against the United Services Automobile Ltd. replacement of 12-journey tickets on the Blyth-Newcastle route by monthly tickets have been rejected by the MoT.
The Corporation complained to the Prices and Incomes Board that it was another method of raising fares. The Board passed the complaint on to the Ministry who said United's plan had been approved by the Northern LA.
Fares Bids: West Yorkshire Road Car Co. Ltd., of Harrogate, and Samuel Lectgard's of Armley, Bradford and ilkley, have filed applications to increase fares.
