Mr. Harry Hodges, told the Yorkshire Licensing Authority, last week, that although he spent an average of £1.000 -a month on hiring, he could not obtain nearly enough of the kind of transport he required. The application was opposed by British Road Services and a number of haulage firms. .
It was stated that when Mr. Hodges wanted 40 vehicles, he could get only 'five, and on another occasion nine.
The Licensing Authority reserved his decision.
