Originally with the Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd., from 1922-32, he joined Messrs. Stella Tyre Experts. of Birmingham, in 1933, becoming a director in 1936. He was chairman of the Midland Region of N.T.D.A. in 1942, has been a national council member for several years, and treasurer for the past eight.
